Dr. Schuckit has spent decades researching the genetic and environmental influences in alcohol use disorder. In this episode, he gives us an overview of the risk factors for developing an alcohol addiction, what treatments are currently available, and what measures can be taken to prevent this condition in susceptible individuals.
